The hot dog buns and rye bread that I recently purchased for $4.99 each at my local grocery store were on the shelf for only $1.28! In fact, all of the Pepperidge Farm breads that they had (and it was a large variety) were only $1.28 each — and they weren't even past their best-by dates.

It's always a good idea to stock up when you find something you like, since it might not be available the next time you visit the store.
